"Creativity takes courage. "

- Henri Matisse

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors.... but they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Teacher Guides

Dear Teachers and Parents,
Please note that it is okay to substitute materials other than the ones suggested in the guides. Different colored paper, different sizes, different colored paint, etc. will work with the art projects.
In fact, using materials other than those seen on the DVD will encourage your student’s creativity and teach them the value of being resourceful when something they need is not available.
Lastly, I recommend instilling “art confidence” in your students by emphasizing that when we’re learning art, it’s important to focus on the process and not the product.

Sincerely,
Tisha Smith
